After many years and as of January 1, 2012 Neighborhood Cats was no longer a part of the New York City Feral Cat Alliance of the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals,  as AnimalResources confirmed with Neighborhood Cats shortly after learning about it in September 2011.
