Veterinarians in Eugene spent the day fighting pet over population in Lane County.
The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon sponsored the clinic for local feral and stray cats.
More than 80 cats were spayed or neutered.

Animal Population Control Fund with a resolution commending the program that became operational in 1984 to provide low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for New Jersey pets owned by people on public assistance for a mere $10 co-pay. With prices escalating in every direction, it is amazing that fee has not increased one cent. Nor has the $20 co-pay for any pets -- repeat any -- adopted from a licensed nonprofit shelter or pound.
